In the early hours of Christmas Eve in 2022, the life of 50-year-old Richard Antonio Joseph of Alexandria, Virginia, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The male victim was in the 3600 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest, in Washington, D.C., when the shooting occurred at approximately 12:54 a.m. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fourth District, drawn to the area by the sound of gunshots, discovered a grim scene upon their arrival.
