On the morning of October 26, 2014, the city of Reno, Nevada, awoke to a grim discovery. In the 100 block of West Plumb Lane, a 49-year-old male named Benjamin Ford was found lying on the ground, unconscious and bleeding. Authorities were called to the scene at approximately 7:30 a.m. It was soon determined that Ford, a resident of California who also went by the alias Vinni Gallo, had been shot.
