On a summer evening in Reno, Nevada, the life of 26-year-old Ryan Jones, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On June 18, 2017, police responded to a call from an apartment complex where they discovered a scene of violence. Jones had been fatally shot, and two other individuals were found with gunshot wounds that were determined to be non-life-threatening.
