On October 1, 2017, Denise Cohen, a 58-year-old woman from Santa Barbara, California, tragically lost her life in the Las Vegas massacre, one of the deadliest mass shootings in modern U.S. history. Cohen, who grew up in San Ramon, California, and graduated from California High School, was at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival with her boyfriend, Derrick 'Bo' Taylor.
