On the night of October 1, 2017, 28-year-old Cameron Lee Robinson, a White male, was enjoying the Route 91 Harvest music festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was at the concert with his boyfriend, Bobby Eardley, when the festive atmosphere was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Robinson was tragically struck in the neck by a bullet and died at the scene. His boyfriend was also wounded in the attack but survived his injuries.
