In the quiet hours of a late December evening in 2017, the life of 22-year-old Anthony Jaurice Vance, a Black male, was tragically cut short in what would become a grim triple homicide investigation in North Las Vegas. On December 28th, Vance, along with two other individuals, Carole Joyce Patterson, 44, and Quintin Jakar Hicks, 20, were found shot to death inside an apartment on the 2200 block of Carroll Street, near Civic Center Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard.
