In the late summer of 2018, the life of Qaid Muhammad, a 29-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. On September 12, 2018, his body was discovered on a street in Henderson, Nevada. The former bantamweight prospect, who had once been an alternate for the 2008 U.S. Olympic boxing team, had moved to the Las Vegas area from New Jersey with aspirations of reviving his professional boxing career.
