On January 16, 2019, Gerald David, 81, and his wife Sharon David, 80, were found shot dead in their home in Washoe Valley, south of Reno, Nevada. This tragic event was part of a series of brutal murders that shook the communities in the Reno area. The killings began on January 10, 2019, with the death of Connie Koontz, 56, in her Gardnerville home, followed by the murder of Sophia Renken, 74, in her Gardnerville home on January 13.
