On May 31, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Henderson, Nevada, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Antwoine Daejuan Young Jr. The incident was reported late Friday morning, with multiple 911 calls received around 11:20 a.m. regarding a shooting near Major Avenue and Van Wagenen Street. However, the actual location of the shooting was later identified as the 300 block of Bright Sumac Court, near Boulder Highway and Greenway Road.
