On December 2, 2019, a tragic incident occurred at Lazy 5 Regional Park in Spanish Springs, Nevada, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Robert DeCoite from Sparks, Nevada. The incident was confirmed by Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam, who announced the death on Monday night, with the victim's name being released the following day.
