In the late morning of November 12, 2020, Douglas Morrin, a 77-year-old man, was in the parking lot of a Wells Fargo bank in south Reno, Nevada. What should have been a routine errand turned tragic when he was shot in what authorities believe was an attempted robbery. The incident, which occurred around 10:28 a.m. on Neil Road, left Mr. Morrin with a critical gunshot wound.
