In the winter of 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada, a family confrontation took a tragic and fatal turn, ending the life of 19-year-old James Bogar Lepe, a Hispanic/Latino male. On the evening of December 27th, Lepe accompanied his mother to his sister's apartment in the central part of the city. They went there to confront his sister's boyfriend, who was allegedly abusive.
