In the summer of 2021, on the afternoon of July 15th, the life of 33-year-old Bryan Sanders was tragically cut short in Reno, Nevada. A call was made to the Reno Police Department at approximately 2:20 p.m. reporting an unresponsive person at the Pinewood Terrace Apartments located on Evelyn Way. Upon their arrival, officers and medical personnel discovered Sanders at the scene, where he was pronounced deceased.
The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed that
Bryan Sanders, a male resident of Reno, had died from a gunshot wound to the head. His death was officially ruled a homicide, prompting an extensive investigation by the Reno Police Department. Detectives began the arduous process of piecing together the events that led to the fatal shooting, combing the apartment complex for evidence and seeking out any potential witnesses who might have seen or heard something that could lead them to the person or persons responsible.
Despite their efforts, the investigation into Sanders' murder remains ongoing. As of the immediate aftermath and in the days that followed, no suspects were publicly identified, and no arrests have been announced in connection with the case. The circumstances surrounding the shooting and a motive have not been released to the public. In an effort to generate leads, Secret Witness announced a $2,500 reward for any information that would lead to an arrest and prosecution in the case. The community has been urged to come forward with any details, no matter how insignificant they might seem, that could help bring justice for Bryan Sanders.
