On October 26, 1986, the body of 24-year-old Judy Tina Pillman, a white female, was discovered by two fishermen in Chatfield State Park in Jefferson County, Colorado. Her body was found partially covered by brush on the west side of the park near South Wadsworth Boulevard. An investigation determined that she had been shot.
Pillman was last seen ten days earlier, on the evening of October 16, 1986.
She had been dropped off near the intersection of Colfax and Corona streets in Denver to attend an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, which she did not attend. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a black leather coat, a blue hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans. It is believed she may have had a brown suitcase and a black radio with her.
At the time of her death, Pillman was living with her brother at the Arnold Apartments, located at 1235 Washington Street in Denver, and was employed by Kayman T-shirts. The case remains an unsolved homicide, and no arrests have been made, nor have any suspects been publicly identified. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office continues to request that anyone with information regarding the case come forward.
