In the late summer of 1988, the life of Betty Jean Roquemore Limbrick, a 42-year-old resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, came to a tragic and unexpected end. On September 15th, she was shot and killed in her own home, a place that should have been her sanctuary. The circumstances surrounding her death were profoundly devastating, as the person responsible was her own 15-year-old son, Charles E.
