On the night of January 27, 2002, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of Erin C. Golla, a 27-year-old White female, inside the AMF Broadway Lanes Bowling Alley in Littleton, Colorado. The bowling alley had closed for the evening, and Erin, an employee, was preparing to leave with a coworker, James Springer, and a friend, Robert Zajac. It was in these final moments of their shift, at approximately 11:50 p.m., that they were confronted by an unknown assailant.
