In a tragic turn of events, 59-year-old Charlotte Williams of Arvada lost her life in a fatal shooting on December 8, 2020. The incident occurred behind a Safeway grocery store located in the 9100 block of West Colfax Avenue in Lakewood, Colorado. Williams was discovered at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by responding officers, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the location.

The investigation into the death of Charlotte Williams, a female, led to the identification of multiple suspects. Law enforcement officials moved swiftly, and within a day of the incident, they had their first suspect in custody. Clenon Shernar Redd, a 36-year-old from Aurora, was arrested and subsequently faced charges of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence. The pursuit of justice did not end there, as the investigation crossed state lines to apprehend a second individual connected to the crime.

A few days later, a second suspect, 37-year-old Donald Robinson, also from Aurora, was apprehended near Sunset, Texas, by the Texas State Highway Patrol. Robinson was held in the Wise County jail and awaited extradition back to Jefferson County, Colorado, to face charges of first-degree murder and aggravated robbery for his alleged involvement in Williams' death. In addition to the two men arrested, Lakewood police also announced they were searching for a third person of interest, described as a woman in her mid-30s who was seen leaving the area.
