On a cold winter day in Adams County, Colorado, the lives of two cousins were tragically cut short in a violent encounter that remains a mystery to this day. Twenty-seven-year-old Rene Castro, a White male, was found deceased on February 7, 2002, inside a business known as Surcure Industries, located at 6425 Washington Street in Brighton.
