On August 4, 2004, a tragic incident occurred at the Bluebird Theater, located at 3317 East Colfax Avenue in Denver, Colorado. Kurt Lydell Levias Jr., a 21-year-old resident of Denver, lost his life in a deadly shooting that followed an altercation inside the theater. The fight, which initially broke out within the premises of the Bluebird Theater, escalated and continued outside, where Levias was fatally shot.
