Nineteen-year-old Salomon Mendoza, a male resident of Lakewood, Colorado, was fatally wounded in a shooting on the night of Wednesday, February 11, 2009. The incident that claimed Mendoza's life unfolded in a residential area, where he was discovered inside a vehicle, having sustained a gunshot wound.
