On a quiet Saturday morning in Colorado Springs, the life of Andrew Alan “Drew” Myers, a 35-year-old male U.S. Army veteran, was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence. On October 31, 2015, Myers was riding his bicycle when he was gunned down by a stranger. The attack was sudden and unprovoked, leaving a community in shock and a family to mourn a man who had survived three tours of duty in Iraq only to be killed in his own neighborhood.
