In a quiet home in Fountain, Colorado, the life of 56-year-old Valerie Hills came to a tragic end in what police have described as a murder-suicide. On June 12, 2016, officers were called to the residence to conduct a welfare check, and upon entry, they discovered the bodies of Hills, a female, and her 60-year-old husband, Merwin Rowe.
