On February 7, 2017, a tragic incident occurred at the Sheridan Station of the Denver light rail system, resulting in the death of 32-year-old Tim Cruz. The events unfolded around 1 a.m. when two teenagers, Ever Valles and Nathan Valdez, both 19 years old at the time, allegedly approached Cruz with the intention of robbing him.
