On February 22, 2019, David Rosenthal, a 58-year-old man from Denver, Colorado, was tragically killed in a carjacking incident while he was working as an Uber driver. The incident occurred near the intersection of Perry Street and West Colfax Avenue around 2 a.m. Rosenthal was using the Uber driver app at the time of the shooting, which suggests that he was actively engaged in his duties as a driver when the crime took place.
