On a summer evening in Commerce City, Colorado, the lives of two young women were tragically cut short. Twenty-three-year-old Juanita Castorena-Llaguno, a female from Denver, was found deceased on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Her body was discovered inside a residence located in the 6700 block of Clermont Street. She was not alone; alongside her was 18-year-old Daisy Munoz of Commerce City.
The discovery was made after the Commerce City Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the area near East 68th Avenue and Brighton Boulevard.
