The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office determined that he had suffered fatal gunshot wounds to the head and chest, and his death has been classified as a homicide. Ramos, a father, brother, and uncle, was known for his kind nature and willingness to help others. Originally from the Los Angeles area, it is believed that he may have been lured to the location by certain individuals.
Jose Ramos was last seen alive on October 17, 2024. At the time, he was reportedly wearing blue shorts over black clothing, a multicolored jacket featuring blue, possibly gray and white, and a black hat. He was discovered by a homeless man walking his dog in the early hours of the following day. The area where Ramos was found is known to have a significant homeless population, and it is suspected that others were present nearby at the time of the incident. However, no one has come forward with information.
Despite the presence of potential witnesses, authorities have not yet made any arrests, and no suspects have been publicly identified.
