On October 18, 2024, 39-year-old Hispanic male Jose Ramos was found deceased near the railroad tracks in the 3700 block of Capitol Avenue in the City of Industry, California. The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office determined that he had suffered fatal gunshot wounds to the head and chest, and his death has been classified as a homicide.
