In the quiet town of Bennett, Colorado, the life of 39-year-old Heath Clayton Jones came to a tragic and violent end. On the morning of December 9, 2019, the Adams County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired at a residence near John W. Avenue and McKinley Drive. Inside, deputies discovered Jones, who had sustained injuries from a shooting.
