On a cold winter evening in Denver, Colorado, on February 6, 2021, a young man's life was tragically cut short. Twenty-year-old Yzeed Sayyaheen was at Loretto Heights Park in the southwest part of the city when he was shot multiple times. The shooting occurred near West Amherst Avenue and South Irving Street just before 8 p.m. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and Sayyaheen was rushed to Swedish Hospital in a desperate attempt to save his life.
