Azun Buckner, an 18-year-old young man, was shot and killed on April 3, 2015, in Chicago's South Side. The incident occurred late in the evening near the 1000 block of East 93rd Street in the Burnside neighborhood, an area known for its struggles with gun violence. According to police reports, Azun was standing on the sidewalk when an unknown assailant approached and opened fire, striking him multiple times.
