On May 15, 1994, the body of 29-year-old Leonel Gonzales was discovered in an irrigation ditch near the intersection of Pajarito Road and Coors Road SW in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The investigation revealed that Leonel Gonzales died from a small caliber gunshot wound to the head, indicating a violent and intentional act.
