Jaydon Carl Chavez-Silver, a 17-year-old resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, tragically lost his life on June 26, 2015, in a devastating incident of gun violence. At the time of his death, Jaydon was entering his senior year at Manzano High School and had aspirations to graduate, attend college, and eventually enlist in the United States Air Force to become a pilot.
