In the small city of Tucumcari, New Mexico, the life of 25-year-old Joseph T. Burgess was brought to a sudden and violent end. On April 5, 2017, authorities responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at a residence on the 4200 block of Quay Road 65. Upon arrival, they discovered Burgess, a male resident of Tucumcari, deceased from a gunshot wound.
