Death by Force

Kimon Wheeler, age 15, was shot and killed on June 17, 2015, in the North Lawndale neighborhood on Chicago’s West Side. The incident took place when three juvenile suspects approached Kimon, who was with a group of friends. They attempted to rob the group, and when Kimon tried to flee, he was shot in the back. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition but was later pronounced dead.
