In the early evening of March 5, 2019, in Farmington, New Mexico, an altercation escalated into a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 31-year-old Nathaniel Tracy. The male victim was on the 300 block of North Monterey Avenue when the incident occurred. Farmington police officers were dispatched to the scene around 6:48 p.m. following reports of a possible shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered local residents attempting to save Tracy's life by administering CPR.
