In the late hours of a summer evening in Albuquerque, New Mexico, events unfolded that would tragically end the life of 45-year-old James Tilla. On July 22, 2019, at approximately 11:45 PM, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of Wilson Park in the southeast area of the city.
