On May 20, 2022, a tragic incident occurred in Albuquerque, New Mexico, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Rene Castillo. Castillo arrived at a hospital after being shot near the intersection of Central and I-25. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
