In the late summer of 2022, the life of 36-year-old Robert Smiley was tragically cut short in Roswell, New Mexico. On August 19, the Black / African American male was found deceased, the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred inside a trailer. The Roswell Police Department swiftly launched a homicide investigation into the death of the Roswell man.
