On June 28, 1978, Freddy Francisco Delavega, a 34-year-old resident of Somerville, Massachusetts, was one of the five victims of the notorious Blackfriars Massacre in Boston. The massacre occurred at the Blackfriars Pub, located at 105-111 Summer Street in Downtown Boston, a venue that doubled as an Irish-themed pub and a late-night disco club.
