On a cold December night in 2022, the life of 22-year-old Idelfonso Velez was tragically cut short in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston. Just before 11:00 PM on Wednesday, December 14th, police responded to reports of a shooting on Kensington Street. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered Velez suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
