On December 27, 2016, a tragic incident occurred in New Bedford, Massachusetts, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Justin T. Ortiz. Ortiz was found in the second-floor hallway of 51 Tallman Street, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, he was later pronounced deceased at St. Luke’s Hospital.
