In the winter of 2016, the life of 21-year-old Justin T. Ortiz was tragically cut short in New Bedford, Massachusetts. On the night of December 27th, a 911 call led police to an apartment building at 51 Tallman Street, where they discovered Ortiz in a second-floor hallway, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
