On the warm evening of August 17, 2017, in Brockton, Massachusetts, the life of 26-year-old Hispanic male, Henry Vargas, was tragically cut short. A former basketball standout at Brockton High School and a loving father to two young daughters, Vargas was well-known and loved within his community. Only thirteen days before his death, he had welcomed his second daughter into the world. His life was full of promise and centered around his growing family, to whom he was deeply devoted.
