In the early morning hours of January 27, 2018, the body of 41-year-old Jermaine Taylor of East Falmouth, a male, was discovered alongside General Patton Drive in Hyannis, Massachusetts. A Barnstable police officer on patrol noticed what initially appeared to be a person passed out on the sidewalk around 2:27 a.m. Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that Taylor had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.
