Upon arrival, police found Eric Christensen unresponsive on the kitchen floor with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Despite immediate medical attention, Hyannis Fire/Rescue transported Christensen to Cape Cod Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation into Christensen's murder led to the arrest of Justin Peckham, a 29-year-old individual from Boston. Justin Peckham, born on January 13, 1992, was arraigned in Barnstable District Court by the Honorable Edward F.X. Lynch.
