In the summer of 2019, a burst of violence on a Springfield, Massachusetts street ended the life of 28-year-old Hispanic male, Johnathan Rodriguez. On the afternoon of Wednesday, August 7th, police responded to reports of a gunshot victim in the vicinity of 37 Longhill Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Rodriguez, who had been shot. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
