In the early hours of a summer Sunday, the life of Dwight Stamp, a 35-year-old Black/African American man from Quincy, was tragically cut short. On July 12, 2020, at approximately 1:58 AM, Boston Police officers from District B-3 responded to a report of a person shot in the vicinity of 25 Regis Road in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston. Upon their arrival, they discovered Stamp suffering from gunshot wounds.
