On the evening of August 10, 2003, 15-year-old Germaine Rucker was shot and killed in Boston, Massachusetts. The incident occurred on Wendover Street, where Rucker had gone to sell some small jewelry charms to a woman and her children. After completing the transaction, the woman reentered her home, while her daughter remained outside.
