In the quiet city of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the life of a young, 22-year-old White/Caucasian woman, Cassandra Brouthers, was tragically cut short on the night of Friday, October 2, 2020. Known affectionately as "Cassie," she was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on Robbins Avenue when gunfire shattered the evening's calm at approximately 9 p.m. First responders rushed to the scene, in the area of Robbins Avenue and Bradford Street, where they found Brouthers suffering from a gunshot wound. ...
