In the early hours of a cold December morning in Worcester, Massachusetts, the life of 35-year-old James Michael Johnson, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On December 8, 2021, Johnson and his brother, Marcus Thibodeau, were outside the Diamond Inn on Grafton Street when they were both fatally shot. The brothers had reportedly gone to the bar to celebrate Thibodeau's 27th birthday.
