George M. Saydee, a 34-year-old Black man, was fatally shot on the night of Sunday, November 30, 2014, in Worcester, Massachusetts. Originally from Liberia, his family had immigrated to the United States in the 1990s to escape civil war. He was a father and worked as a residential counselor at a local facility called Starting Point. On that fateful evening, he was gunned down outside of his own apartment on Duncannon Avenue.
