In the early hours of a Sunday morning over Labor Day weekend in 2022, the sounds of a house party in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood were shattered by gunfire. On September 4th, at approximately 3 a.m., a triple shooting occurred in the area of 26 Melbourne Street, leaving two men dead and another wounded. One of the men who lost his life was Tefan Ivy, a 29-year-old Black / African American male from Brockton and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
